Every Fall Item Anna Wintour Would Buy at Zara Right Now

Fall is in full swing, and if you're anything like all the other humans in the world, you're still procrastinating on all of your fall shopping. To be honest, we don't blame you in the slightest. Between the new fall 2020 trends to keep up with, budgets to consider, and the dozens of other factors that prohibit you from being productive in your fall shopping endeavors, it can feel like a cohesive seasonal wardrobe is unachievable. To help guide you in the right direction, or at least a direction, we thought it would be fun to combine two of the most opposite forces in the fashion industry for a shopping guide that will go down in history—Anna Wintour and Zara.

Anna has never (or at least not to my knowledge) worn or been spotted in anything from Zara, but since we love the affordable retailer, and yes, that "we" includes you, so much, we took it upon ourselves to pull some of Anna's best fall looks to use as inspiration for the curation of Zara products ahead.

Based on seven of her looks below, we shopped out all the products we think the most powerful woman in this industry would buy should she so happen to ever stroll into a Zara to pick up a few seasonally appropriate things. Ready to see our edit? Scroll down and happy shopping.

Strong notes of leather were everywhere on the fall 2020 runways, and Anna's wardrobe is already quite familiar with the trend. While a leather coat like the above is definitely Anna's speed, we can also see her buying into strong separates like skirts, long jackets, and even dresses.

Dark floral dresses for fall? Groundbreaking. But in all seriousness, no one wears a floral dress quite like Anna Wintour, which is what gives us the confidence to believe she would stock up on Zara's printed dress assortment for fall to wear with all of her slouchy boots and strappy Manolos alike.

It wouldn't be fall without a sea of plaid and checked separates, and based on this sleek coat look alone, we know Anna would be in full support of the herringbone, tartan plaids, and classic checks gracing the pages of Zara this season.

While Anna loves a simple Manolo sandal, don't put it past her to step out wearing a statement slouchy boot—even one doused in an animal print. Take note from Anna and wear any of the affordable slouchy boots below with midi dresses and coats all season long.

Pleats are one of the biggest micro-trends of fall 2019, sure, but the design is also a classic that Anna has frequented throughout her life. Be it on a dress or a skirt, these fine pleats are a must-have this season according to Zara and Anna.

Animal prints are not going anywhere anytime soon, and Anna has proven exactly that over the years. Currently, Zara is stocked with zebra, leopard, and the like, and if we know Anna like we think we know her, the following selection would be at the top of her list from the retailer's current selection.
