To get my morning going, I'll drink 12 ounces of hot water with lemon. This routine is essential for me to start my day and to set my intentions. The morning is the only time I truly have to myself throughout the day, so I'll spend 10 to 15 minutes off my phone to bask in the sun.

Once my morning ritual is complete, I'll set off to do my simple skincare routine. My essentials include Youth to the People 15% Vitamin C + Clean Caffeine Energy Serum and my favorite Salt & Stone Lightweight Sheer Daily Sunscreen SPF 40.

I’m usually an evening skincare routine person, so keeping it pretty minimal in the morning is normal for me. I like to let all my favorite products, which include Tata Harper Clarifying Cleanser, followed by her Resurfacing AHA + BHA Serum, seep into my skin throughout the night while I sleep.

As for my hair, I don't brush or style it, but luckily, she is quite tame, which allows me time to move rather slowly in the morning.

On to my morning getup! I'll usually put on my favorite comfy-cozy outfit, which is usually a Donni sweatsuit paired with a sandal/sock moment. I'll complement my 'fit with a few spritzes of DedCool Madonna (Lilly) Eau de Parfum, layered with a touch of DedCool Milk—this is typically the scent I wear to work since it’s super light.

I'll arrive at the office around this time to have a daily recap with my team. By 9 a.m., I am pouring 20 ounces of coffee down my throat (I don’t even like it; I just drink it?) to get myself energized for the day.

Every day at DedCool is different. We’re either planning launches or planning content and creative. Everything is done under one house, which includes the manufacturing facility, so it’s wonderful to be able to streamline all things production and creative.

Recently, we’ve been batching up our newest-launched product, our Dedtergent! The formula has been reworked and over again to ensure the quality, and we’ve finally got it just right and perfect. We’re always pushing the boundaries of fragrance and want to make it an experience that can be applied throughout your day-to-day, so that means laundry too.

There is never a dull moment in the office. Whether that’s batching, formulating, or planning a shoot, there’s always something going on to keep us busy.
