This Celebrity Facialist Breaks Down Her Entire Morning Routine

What's the first thing you do when you get out of bed in the morning? 5 A.M.

Since I'm a working mom, I like to start my day quite early so I can be fully present in each aspect of my life. Once I wake up, I'll read the news and catch up on any emails I may have missed from the day before. I will often make an espresso (I am still obsessed with my Nespresso machine!) and get back into bed to read.

7 A.M.

My dog, Luna, is afraid of the dark, so she will only get up with the sun. Once I see the dawn break, I'll take her out for a walk. We live in a quiet little town, and it's nice to start the day with a peaceful walk. I always throw on my favorite sunscreen, Suqqu Face Protector SPF 50.

7:30 A.M.

When I bring Luna back home, I'll hang with my daughter while she gets ready for school. We love spending time together in the morning, and she often likes to have company while she is putting together her look for the day. 

8:30 A.M.

I'll get dressed for my next activity, which is tennis. My favorite workout looks are actually from Beyond Yoga. I love its tennis dresses because you don’t have to think about putting together a whole set, they are super comfortable, and they look great on the court.

9:30 A.M.

After I play tennis for about an hour, I'll come home to start getting ready for work. I always do a quick dry brush before jumping in the shower because it increases circulation and is great for the lymphatic system. Plus, it feels amazing!

After my shower, I'll cleanse using my Vitamin C Face Wash, which is good for brightening your skin. I always recommend washing your face in the morning to remove your nighttime skincare, even if you haven’t had a workout. 

I'll follow that up with the Eden Serum, which is a hydrating and rejuvenating stem cell serum that helps to address fine lines in my skin. Since I love layering serums, I'll follow that up with my Rescue SerumI always do a quick massage here to help de-puff and contour the face before I leave for work. 

After the skincare application, I'll move on to makeup, which is pretty simple. Some of my favorite products right now are the Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 and Mult-Stick in the shade Lady Bird.

11 A.M.

Before I head out the door, I'll make myself a green smoothie for breakfast with one of the recipes from my book, Glow From Within.

12 P.M.

Work can get pretty hectic, but I try to check in with everyone before I prep for my clients. Then, it's time to clean, stock, and plan for the day. On days when I am doing facials, I am usually booked back to back, so I don’t have much time for anything else. I truly love my job and wouldn’t change a thing!
