The Workout Gear Our Editors Are Wearing to the Gym Right Now

Does anyone ever feel just a little bit more motivated to go to the gym when you've got on new activewear? (Or is that just us?) There's just something about testing out a new pair of leggings or sports bra that makes your everyday studio class or gym routine more exciting.

Since we're pretty passionate about workout gear here at THE/THIRTY, we wanted to put JoyLab's new collection to the test. Our editors chose their favorite looks from the latest drop and then all headed to a workout class together to try them out. Here are our honest reviews below. You can shop the collection at Target now.

"This is the softest workout set I've ever worn. Both the top and leggings are simultaneously stretchy and supportive, and this dark gray colorway easily hides any unfortunate places pools of sweat. I have a short torso, so the top was hardly cropped on me, but I still felt really comfortable to move and work out in it."

"This set is soft. As in, when I felt it, I whispered to myself, What is this witchcraft? I also like that at least for me, the top also functioned as a bra, so I had to think about one less thing for my workout look."

"There are three reasons I'm obsessed with this set. First of all, it's one of the comfiest things I've ever put on for a workout. The fabric is super-soft brushed cotton and it's very forgiving and not the least bit restricting—I felt like I could move around in way, shape, or form. The color is also amazing. It's a deep purple shade that makes all my plain black leggings pale in comparison. And lastly, pockets! I'm way too excited about being able to tuck my phone away and be hands-free while going for a run. It's so simple but a game-changer."

"I'd say about 95% of my activewear is black, so I wanted to try something new and go for a bright print. This set will definitely make you stand out in class, but it's also pretty comfortable too. The leggings are stretchy enough but are also supportive. And the bra provides the right amount of coverage but has a cool crisscross design that makes it a little bit more fun and stylish."
