July Wellness Horoscopes

This month, I’m going to figure out where work ends and my life begins. Work/life balance? What's that? But this month, I'll try. I will be honest about where I need to draw the line because life is happening whether I want it to or not. So move on over, work.

This month, I am going to look good because I feel good. I am going to show the world what I have been manifesting on the inside. I will let all of my spiritual growth shine. Because what is more attractive than self-love? This month, this bull is going to turn heads.

This month, I will nest. Yes to that cashmere throw I’ve been wanting. Yes to that overpriced candle that also sparks joy. Yes to Irish goodbye-ing at 9 p.m. on a Friday night to go watch YouTube clips of Jonathan Van Ness from Queer Eye. Yes to more yes!

This month, I will find the truth that lies between logic and faith, between my head and my heart. Because my head may keep me safe, but it also keeps me small. This month, I will silence some of those voices. And since it’s my month, maybe I’ll find some magic along the way.

This month, I will choose my words wisely because I don’t want to get wires crossed with those I care about. I will think before I speak. I will write out my thoughts before sharing on what is meaningful to me. And when I speak, I will speak with loving kindness.

This month, I will… spoil myself? Yes, it will feel as weird as it sounds, but it is long overdue. I will use those vacation days. I will splurge on the ____ that’s been sitting in my cart for months. And I will indulge in the one thing I rarely do—praise. So good job, me.

This month, I will be thankful for what is given to meand even more thankful for what has been taken. Because I know it was never meant to be mine anyway. Because I know the universe has bigger plans for me. This month I will look for the rainbow in every cloud.

This month, I will go outside myselfoutside of my safe internal layer, so that I can use all of my emotional power for good. For change. For the rest of humanity. Because no one can see what is hurting more clearly than I can. And no one can hold that pain better than I can.

This month, I will surround myself with exciting people. People who also stay up until 4 a.m. plotting their next adventure. I will do this for the sake of inspiration. For the sake of preserving my beautifully naïve view that life should be fun, wild, and free.

Despite my burning need for control, this month I will take risks. I will try on something different for size. A new dynamic in my relationship. A new way of approaching my work. A new exercise routine. Big or small—I will make sure I’ve never done it before.

This month, I will learn how to pair-bond. I will learn what it means to trust you with my heart. I will set aside my loner-like mentality and Jedi defense mechanisms. From this month forward, if you’ll still have me, I’ll show you that I’ve always been yours.

This month, I will let my heart lead. I will say yes to what it craves. I will say no to what it doesn’t deserve. And I will let myself be crazy, stupid, and in love with life. Because I know that I was built for it and because caution never looked good on me anyway.
