This is Doing Well, a series where we'll get a peek into the wellness routines of our favorite celebrities, athletes, social media personalities, entrepreneurs, and more. Think of it as a Proust Questionnaire—wellness style. Below, see what they have to say about their favorite workouts, self-care rituals, wellness goals, affirmations or mottos, and more. Maybe you'll find some inspiration for your own routine.

Nina Dobrev is known for her roles on Degrassi: The Next Generation, The Vampire Diaries, and the newest Netflix holiday rom-com, Love Hard. The actress is an industry veteran, but she's got some other side hustles, too. She and best friend Julianne Hough founded the clean-wine brand Fresh Vine Wine in March 2021—the wines are low-calorie, low-carb, low-sugar, and gluten-free.

Dobrev is also partnering with Affirm, the company with buy-now, pay-over-time options, on its holiday campaign to help make shopping a little bit easier this season. And don't we all need some help in that department when it comes to choosing the perfect gift and staying on budget?

And while we chatted with Dobrev about the partnership, of course, we also had to ask her to fill out our Doing Well questionnaire so we could get a glimpse into her wellness routine. Sometimes we're nosy like that. See what she had to say below.

The first thing I do when I wake up is: First thing I do is make coffee. A strong coffee with almond milk. That and cuddle Maverick.

My go-to meal before work is: I love Three Wishes cereal. The honey flavor to be specific. It's fast and healthy!

My favorite workout is: I love Pilates. It makes me feel so good. I go to a studio and/or I have a reformer at home and zoom with my private instructor.

Something that always puts me in a good mood: My dog Maverick. She's always happy to see me and can make me smile whenever I'm down. That and dancing in the kitchen. Alone or with friends.

My favorite feel-good Instagram accounts to follow: Anything animal-related. I love animal videos. My dog has an Instagram: @mrs.maverick.

My must-have beauty/self-care products are: I can't live without my mini Theragun. I bring it everywhere with me. And my LED Déesse face mask.

The one thing I do to wind down is: I love to sauna and steam at the end of the day. It makes me feel rejuvenated and helps me relax/unwind.

My ideal chill at-home 'fit is: Matching Alo hoodie and Alo sweatpant set. They're so soft. It's my go-to at-home 'fit and my favorite to travel in. Cute and comfy.

My favorite thing about myself is: That I'm adventurous and spontaneous. I would like to think of myself as a go-with-the-flow person and down to do anything fun!

The one wellness goal I want to accomplish this year: I want to try to meditate and write down my thoughts every day. It's something I need to keep up.
