As the chief marketing officer of Mab & Stoke, the world’s first customizable herbal super tab, Tina Wells knows a thing or two about incorporating wellness into her busy schedule. That usually means multitasking when possible, whether it’s fitting in a workout between early Zoom calls or keeping tabs on her inbox and work priorities during her morning self-care practice. Wells has found the balance to make it all work.

The first thing I do when I wake up is make my chai tea latte with oat milk and drop in a Mab & Stoke Custom Mab Tab. The ginger in my Mab Tab adds even more of a kick. I stopped drinking coffee a few weeks ago, and I’ve been using this delicious drink to stave off those lingering cravings.
I’ve discovered that an Ayurvedic lifestyle really suits me right now. Oil pulling first thing in the morning has been a miracle worker for spring allergies, so I do that after I enjoy my smoothie.
This is when I fit in my morning workout. I’ve found it essential for sustaining energy levels and waking up my mind, not just my body. I love my G. Sport by Goop pieces because they’re comfortable to move in but still flattering. The designs are chic enough that they also work great as transition wear if I have an early morning Zoom call. Sweaty Betty’s gym kits are also a favorite. You can throw them on without thinking and still look put-together.
Once I’m geared up, I’ll start streaming a Tracy Anderson class. I’m a die-hard fan! Nothing’s more effective on my 40-year-old body like a new routine from Tracy. I love the weekly classes and watching the breakdown videos to learn new moves. I usually do that first and think, Oh no there’s no way my leg will be doing that. It’s really awesome to see progress week after week and to see what my body really can do.
If I’m feeling something more low tempo or need a recovery day, I love yoga with Tara Stiles. It really feels like you’re giving your body a much-needed hug.
As for my hair, our new normal has resulted in me working with my natural hairstyle. I’ve relaxed my hair and worn weaves for years. Now, I’m learning how to style my natural curl. It’s been a quick education, but the brand I am loving the most right now is TPH by Taraji P. Henson. I use her Ultra Chill hair serum and The Guardian Curl refresher as the finishing touches of my morning routine.
This entire routine only takes about 15 minutes, and I do it while listening to my Alexa global news roundup.
Now that I’m nourished and energized, it’s time to sit down and formally start my workday, but I’ve honestly been keeping an eye on my emails since waking up. Because we’re working from home, I’m living in La Ligne tees and light sweaters with Goop G. Label or Carbon38 pants. If I want to step it up a bit for a video conference, I’ll throw on one of Misha Nonoo’s Husband Shirts for a more formal look. All of these brands make products that are built to last and easy to take care of, which is important these days.
