Every day, thousands of people tune into Trinny Woodall's Instagram account to watch her get dressed (she has an affinity for punchy power suits), put on makeup, and wax poetic about how to be the best and most confident version of yourself. And between her eponymous beauty brand, Trinny London, and her abundance of sage style advice, the British personality is definitely a powerhouse in her own right.
As a beauty brand founder, Woodall's schedule is usually packed with filming and meetings, so it's important to her to have her morning skincare and makeup routine down pat. Keep scrolling to see exactly how Woodall gets ready for her workday.
"I like to wake up and start my days off with some movement. I've been doing an exercise routine with my trainer and a few hundred people around the world on Instagram Live. This ritual has kept me sane since the beginning of lockdown. My workout usually lasts an hour, and afterward, I'll take a shower."
"This is when I'll start my morning skincare routine. First, I'll take MV Skin Therapy Instant Revival Booster and put it on my face and neck. I love doing a facial massage to wake up my skin, by scissoring my hands. It's amazing what you can do for very little money with your fingers. Next, I'll take a facial massage ball from Teresa Tarmey—which I keep in the freezer—to cool down and contour my face. I'll guide it from my chin to my lymph nodes, and down my clavicle. It's my favorite new morning thing."
"Then, I'll take the oil off with a cloth and put my vitamin C serum from Medik8. I've used vitamin C for 20 years and think it's one of the best things to even out your skin tone and reduce hyperpigmentation. It's an essential part of my skincare routine. I'll put it on my hands too because you can get hyperpigmentation there as well."
"I'll begin my makeup with Trinny London Bff De-Stress tinted serum in the shade Lucy. I created Bff De-Stress after years of research on how to fight the signs of stress on the skin. There was nothing out there really addressing this issue, so I formulated this tinted serum to tackle the effects of cortisol but gives your skin a radiant finish."
"In the mornings, I like to run out to a local coffee shop called Hagen, where I grab a fantastic strong Danish coffee. I always follow up with ginger and turmeric shots before breakfast. Today, I'm having porridge made with coconut milk and topped with berries."
"Since I'm working and spending half my life in my closet, I like to keep my clothes orderly and color-coordinated. I'm obsessed with a Serena Bute suit–and-trouser co-ord and today, I'm going to wear one for ease as it's really like a uniform. Before I head out, I'll grab a coat as London can get chilly. Then, it's off to start my day."
