You may know Ty Haney as the founder of the athleisure apparel brand Outdoor Voices, but most recently, the entrepreneur has been building two new companies: Joggy, a full-spectrum CBD company that specializes in plant-based energy supplements, and Try Your Best, a first-of-its-kind web3 community-building platform.

As a lifelong movement enthusiast, Haney really champions getting your body sweating and doing whatever feels good at the start of the day. She calls this sensation, "changing the chemistry."

We caught up with Haney on a typical morning in Malibu, where she and her family are currently based. Keep scrolling to follow along.

I usually wake up at around 6 a.m. with my puppy pack, Pony, Birthday, and Juice every morning and it's off to the races in the yard.

For me, every morning must start with energy. Today, I'm testing a development sample from my company called Joggy, a line of plant-based energetics inspired by my belief that movement makes for healthier, happier people. I'm trying out a caffeinated hibiscus tea that gives you steady and non-jittery energy, and I can't wait to share more when it launches in September.

I'll also take Athletic Greens in the morning. It includes every green and nutrient you might want, packed into a tiny spoonful. I'll typically mix it into an 8-ounce cup of cold water.

On most mornings, I'll also add a dropper full of Runner's High from Joggy, which as the name suggests, is a full-spectrum energy supplement that gives you the feeling of a runner's high. I like to take it before any activity to put me in a steady flow state that makes me feel like I'm the energizer bunny.

Before I start exercising, I'll apply Joy Stick on my knees to relieve soreness and joint aches. It is a cooling relief topical stick that you can use pre- or post-movement. It smells delicious with magnolia, arnica, and bergamot!

I'm an outdoor activity enthusiast, so to protect my skin from the sun, I'll also apply tinted EltaMD sunscreen on my face and body. Finally, I'll throw on my Vada Sunglasses to protect my eyes and I’m ready to go!

Movement time. I'll start by taking a quick run to the beach with my pups, and we'll cruise by beautiful plants and flowers along the way. We’re currently in Malibu, so they are lots of foliage. We'll run along the ocean for a bit before jumping in for an ocean ice bath.

Something I'm really big on is what I call, "changing the chemistry," and I try my best to do it every day. Changing the chemistry is all about moving your body, celebrating sweat, getting sweaty, and doing things that make you feel good like jumping in the ocean. I do this for my body but more so for my mind. So if you're feeling tired, lethargic, stuck, or uncreative, it's a really useful tool to get you in a better state of mind to take on what's ahead. Before work or before any plans, I am really focused on finding a way to move.

After my run, I'll take Renue by Science NAD+ With Resveratrol Lipo Gel, an anti-aging supplement in gel form. And that’s my morning routine in a nutshell. Thanks for following along!
